Thorntown, Jan 7 - Charles Herbert McCafferty, 75, Montgomery County farmer died of heart seizure Tuesday morning at his home, 7 and 1/2 miles SW of here. Born Feb 10, 1871, near Shannondale, the son of George and Ellen Endicott McCafferty, he had devoted most of his life to farming. Mr. McCafferty married Miss Cyntha Plew of Lebanon Oct 22, 1 892, who survives together with three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Joseph, Miss Nova McCafferty both of Frankfort and Mrs. Velva Shanks of Thorntown; two sons, Ruppert McCafferty of Darlington and Warren J. McCafferty, of Thorntown and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Butler, Russell & Hitch Funeral Home in Thorntown at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Friends may pay their respects at the late residence until noon Thursday. - typed by kbz
